These are just a sampling of the millions of questions I had while I trudged through the first few years of freelancing
I worked on oDesk and Elance (both now UpWork) and looked through job boards…and I did everything the experts say you shouldn’t. I made some money, but wanted more. It wasn’t until I ditched all my clients, started over, and worked my way back up that I finally molded the business and income I wanted. Now I’m the breadwinner, bill-payer of my family where as an award-winning, six-figure writer, my income pays for all the treatos. What an honor.
I get it…I’ve been there…I’ve compared myself to other writers who were ahead of me, I’ve trudged through rejections, I’ve wondering how everyone else seems to be figuring it out, I’ve wanted to quit, I’ve walked around in the dark hoping something would work out…I’ve burned out, grown up, and succeeded.
And after seven years of helping other writers with questions and quandaries as a moderator on the Freelance Writers Den, and mentoring writers through ASJA, I know I can help you solve your biz issues and create the writing career you dream of. Together, we’ll work to answer all your questions and craft the right inbound and outbound strategies for freelance writing success.

See what writers say about their coaching experience!
There are courses and communities…books, videos, and tutorials. And many of them are fantastic. But when it comes to finding a freelance writing mentor, applying knowledge, or how to get to the next step, many freelance writers (especially those starting out) find themselves hiccupping at the starting line. There can be questions about what’s working and what’s not, and without business experience, it’s hard to take the next step.
On my journey, one of the best investments I made was working with business coaches specifically for freelancers with a variety of styles. I could ask any questions I needed to, implement things, and then come back with more questions as I worked my way through the learning.
